Transforming the Way You See Adventure

At Plopsaland Deutschland, the world of 100% WOLF invites visitors into a story about transformation, identity, and courage. Set within the School of Adventure, this outdoor ride reimagines the journey of its characters through dynamic scenes and expressive environments.

Colordrops contributed to shaping this experience by producing character statues and scenic elements, designed to bring personality, depth, and durability into a fully immersive setting. From the first glance to the smallest detail, every surface was treated as part of a larger narrative — one that evolves, surprises, and engages.

From Concept to Presence

At the heart of the project are the characters — carefully crafted to capture emotion, movement, and individuality.

The statues were produced in FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic), a material chosen for its strength and suitability for outdoor environments. Using a combination of machine carving and 3D-print-assisted custom molds, each figure was developed with precision and consistency, while allowing room for artistic refinement.

From the tip of the nose to the last strand of fur, every detail was sculpted and finished by hand, ensuring that each character feels alive and expressive within the scene.

Surface, Color, and Durability

To achieve a vibrant and lasting visual impact, each piece underwent a meticulous finishing process.

All statues were hand-painted using layered techniques, enhancing depth, texture, and character identity. The final step included a UV-resistant clear coating, protecting the surfaces against weather exposure and ensuring long-term color stability.

This approach allows the installation to maintain its intensity and clarity over time, even in high-traffic, outdoor conditions.

Scenic Integration

Beyond the characters, Colordrops contributed to the castle theming and surrounding environments, ensuring a cohesive visual language across the entire ride.

Every surface — from architectural elements to scenic transitions — was designed to support the central theme of transformation. Materials, textures, and finishes were carefully aligned so that characters and environment feel naturally connected, rather than separate components.

The result is a space where visitors don’t just observe the story — they step into it.
